Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PreviaLook website and virtual try-on service (the "Service"), operated by PreviaLook Ltd ("PreviaLook", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PreviaLook lets you upload a photo and preview how accessories — such as eyewear, watches, jewellery and bags — may look on you. Previews are illustrative visualisations generated with image technology and are provided for guidance only. They are not a photograph of any specific physical item and may differ from a product you ultimately purchase.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process those photos solely to provide your preview and to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You must only upload images you have the right to use, and you must not upload images of other people without their consent.

Our virtual try-on service processes images of your face to correctly position digital accessories. This involves the temporary processing of facial geometry data, which may be considered biometric data under the UK GDPR. By uploading a photo for the try-on feature, you provide your explicit consent for us to process and temporarily store this data. Uploaded images and associated facial data are retained securely on our servers for a period of 3 days to allow you to access your previews, after which they are permanently and automatically deleted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or infringing purpose;
• upload content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates the rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• misrepresent a preview as an official image of a brand or product.

5. Purchases and third-party retailers

PreviaLook is primarily a preview and discovery service. Where the Service links to a product, the purchase is completed on the retailer's own website and is subject to that retailer's terms, pricing and policies. We are not the seller of those products and are not responsible for them.

Where you purchase a digital service directly from PreviaLook, that purchase is governed by these Terms together with our Refund Policy and Delivery Policy, which form part of these Terms.

6. Dispute resolution

We encourage users to resolve any disagreement with us through direct, good-faith communication first. Please contact support@previalook.com so we can try to put things right before any formal steps are taken.

7. Intellectual property

The PreviaLook name, logo, site design and software are owned by PreviaLook Ltd and protected by law. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission. Brand names shown on the Service belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". Previews are visual approximations and we do not warrant that an accessory will look identical in real life, or that colours, sizes and fit shown will match the physical product. You are responsible for checking product details with the seller before purchase.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PreviaLook is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept them.
